Blumen trends Herbst 200730-10-2007Naughty by Nature: Simultaneous stimulation of several senses “You could say that the inspirational theme Naughty by Nature is rather
mischievous,” says trend watcher Aafje Nijman. “It is intended to stimulate
several senses; not only sight and smell but also taste and touch.”
“Anything suggestive is just fine in the Naughty by Nature theme even dipping
a rose in real chocolate. The smell of chocolate excites the nose and the
taste buds as well as stimulating the imagination. In fact, if the rose
in question were organically grown, it could even be eaten! How about making
it an exclusive starter for a romantic dinner? It would also look fabulous
as a decoration on a special gift. Why not collaborate with a perfume store
or a confectioner? There are other ways of stimulating the senses; for
example painting the thorns on roses red with nail lacquer, or the use
of pointed leaves or cuddly fur. Think about whether sensuality could be
something that appeals to your clientele and whether it should be elegant,
delicious or aggressive. But remember, there is a fine line between good
taste and vulgarity.” Tips: Sensual flowers
Create strong arrangements with big contrasts between hard & soft and spiky
& fragile. Use luxurious flowers such as Anthurium, Celosia, Dendrobium
and roses. Choose predominantly pink and purple shades combined with black
and chocolate brown. Yellow, green, and gold create additional excitement.
Be careful with hard colour combinations such as red, white and black.
These may be fine for a modern target group but could be too confrontational
for more traditionally oriented customers. Material: Flowercouncil.org Zurück
