Flowers4Florists.com uses UPS, the world's largest package delivery company, to deliver the flowers. The flowers are delivered in special designed boxes with cooling elements to guarantee an undamaged delivery.

All our flowers will be packed in steady cardboard cases that are used for airfreight and will guarantee an undamaged delivery.
Sorry, we cannot do Saturday, Sunday and Monday deliveries.
Your flowers will be delivered by UPS. The courier will try to deliver the flowers during working hours. In case you are not present the courier will leave a contact card stating that they have tried to deliver your flowers. They will try to deliver your flowers again next day. Please note: They will try to deliver the flowers up to three times.
If the Express service is available at your address and you choose for that option, UPS guarantees delivery before 12:00 noon. If you choose for the Express Saver service, delivery can be all day.
The basic delivery costs are included with the prices.
As we use special delivery services of UPS (faster shipment), we charge a small amount of extra costs for the delivery at the checkout stage.
For the Express Saver service: EUR 5,- or £4.24 (Delivery all day at the desired delivery date, guaranteed).
For the Express service: EUR 10,- or £8.48 (Delivery before 12 noon at the desired delivery date, guaranteed)
On the day the flowers are shipped out, most of the cases 1 day and in some cases 2 days before the desired delivery date, you will receive your tracking number of UPS so you can track and trace your shipment. In case there are any problems with the UPS delivery, we advise you to contact UPS. More information and contact details can be found on http://www.ups.com.
Flowers4Florists.com uses UPS for delivery and as we have the so-called Exxpress contracts with UPS, they guarantee delivery at the desired delivery date. In normal circumstances, UPS must deliver the flowers at that date, if not, they must arrange a refund. Make sure that accept the flowers at any time, also when UPS delivers too late, only then, a refund is possible. Please note that the UPS guarantee service does not apply when the delay is caused by external factors, like extreme weather conditions or (like last year) volcano eruptions.
There are three types of status when your flowers are being shipped. Below you can find the definition of them all.
In transit
Your package is moving within the UPS network and is going to be delivered on the scheduled delivery date. A package can remain in this status until delivery. Packages moving long distances are often not scanned again between origin and destination. Other than those receiving premium air service, packages may be delivered any time between the hours of 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM to residences, and close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.
Out for delivery
The shipment has reached the local UPS facility responsible for delivering the shipment. The package has been dispatched to a UPS driver and will be delivered today.
Exception
If you receive a message that your shipment has experienced an exception, then check the Shipment or Package Progress section for details about changes in delivery schedule. An exception occurs when a package or shipment encounters an unforeseen event, which could result in a change to the expected delivery day. Examples of exception include: address unknown, damage to shipment, or signature not received.
Please note that when UPS is processing the shipment details, your shipment will always have the status exception. After the pickup, normally in the afternoon, the status will change to in transit.
Sometimes UPS will give the following message:
The selected service is not available to the destination address / downgraded, forwarded to consignee, selected service is not available.
This message does NOT mean the delivery is delayed and the flowers will still be delivered on the requested date. The message just means that the packages will be shipped with another UPS service, for example a service with less acurate tracking information.
The website probably can't recognize your address. Please check if your address is filled in correctly. You'll have to fill in a postal code (except Irish customers). If your address is filled in correctly and you still cannot choose a delivery date, please contact us at info@Flowers4Florists.com

Our website is connected to the UPS system to calculate delivery times. When the UPS system cannot recognize the address, it's also not possible for our website to calculate which days we're able to deliver.
The Irish address doesn't have a postal code, so there's a different way of filling in the address details. In the 'address 1' field you should fill in the name of the street and the housenumber. In 'address 2' you can fill in additional information. The field for postal code should be used for the county and in the city name you should fill in the name of the town or city.
For people living in Dublin, at the 'city' field you should fill in Dublin and the postal code.

Our website is connected to the UPS system to calculate delivery times. When the UPS system cannot recognize the address, it's also not possible for our website to calculate which days we're able to deliver.
In normal circumstances, we have a contract with UPS in which UPS guarantees delivery as scheduled. So if UPS delivers late because of an error on their side, we have the right to make a claim to them. When we receive this claim, we can transfer the money back to your account.
However, please note that UPS guarantee does not apply in the case of adverse weather conditions (severe snow, volcano eruptions in the area). If you are not sure whether UPS will have delays to your destination, we can advise the following:

They can give you more information about their delivery around the desired delivery date,
- You choose to have the flowers delivered 1 day earlier than originally planned, this way you will have 1 day extra delivery time, and delivery 1 day early should be no problem for the flowers. A late delivery can cause a lot of inconvenience, so if you have any doubts, you can contact UPS.
Please note that in our terms and conditions can be read that we are not responsible for any delays. So a refund for the delivery can only be done when we can make a claim to UPS.
